PAYMENT OPTIONS - Basic Candle Class Registration Fee is $36.00 (includes tax).
- Advanced Candle Registration Fee is $27.00 (includes tax).
- Money Orders - Accepted
in person or via mail. Be sure to include the Registration Form with your payment.
NO checks are accepted.
- Credit Cards - Accepted by phone only.
HOW TO REGISTER •
Money Order/Cash/Credit
Card: If you would like to register for a class and pay with
a money order cash or credit card, feel free to call us at
602-320-5957 to make sure space is available. Print out the
Registration Form and follow the instructions.
REGISTRATION MISCELLANEOUS
- Sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Pre-payment is required at the time you sign-up to reserve your
space.
- Feel free to call before mailing your payment to be sure space
is available.
- Many classes fill up in advance, so early registration is
recommended.
- To give personal attention, class size is limited to 4
students.

- By signing up, you are saying you have read this entire page,
including our refund policy.
REFUND POLICY - Re-scheduling Option:
If you sign up for a class and need to change the date for any
reason, there will be a $10 change fee. This option is good as long
as you call us (602-320-5957) with at least 7 DAYS NOTICE. Please
give us as much advance notice as possible. At the time of
re-scheduling, you'll need to let us know which class you would
like to transfer into.
- Half Credit Option: If
you call (602-320-5957) with at least 24 hours notice (but less
than 7 days before the class), and let us know you can't make it
for any reason, you will get a credit for HALF of your class fee to
use for any future class. You'll have up to 2 weeks from the date
of the class to call and tell us which class you would like to use
your credit for, otherwise the credit will be forfeited.
- No Refunds or Credits for No
Shows: If you sign up for a class and do not call or show up
FOR ANY REASON the entire class fee is NON-REFUNDABLE,
nontransferable and no future credit will be given - no exceptions.
- Class Cancellations: If
enrollment is below the studio minimum of 2 students, the teacher
may cancel a class one week prior to the class date. If a class is
cancelled, you will be contacted using the phone number and/or
e-mail you gave when signing up and will receive a full refund or a
credit for any future class (your choice). Your credit will be good
for 6 months from the date of the class.
WHAT TO BRING We provide everything you need for the class - simply show up and
we'll do the rest. We do recommend clothing that you don’t mind
getting a little wax or dye on. An apron, eye covering and gloves
are advisable. If you wear a shirt with sleeves, make sure they can
be rolled or pushed up.
CLASS LOCATION Unless otherwise specified, all classes are held at the Candles To
Glow, Shop located in Peoria, AZ 85345. The address and directions will be given upon registration.
WHAT NOT TO BRING Also, please do not show up for the class with any additional
people or visitors. Unexpected guests often cause distractions that
are not appreciated by paying customers.
MINIMUM AGE & KIDS
CLASSES Although our classes are designed for adults, we do have young
people between the ages 12 and 18 interested in attending. If you
feel your child is mature enough to attend a class with or without
you, please discuss it with us before signing up. We occasionally
offer classes specifically for those under 18. We do offer private
parties if you have a group of young people (or adults) who want to
do a class for a special occasion. If interested, just e-mail us
and let us know with as much advance notice as possible.
TEACHER INFORMATION All classes are taught by the owner and chandler, Char Torrez.
DISCLAIMER “Safety First” is always the most important aspect of candle
making. We use boiling water and wax that is melted to a
temperature of 200 degrees. You will be pouring your own candles.
Please keep this in mind when you sign-up for a class not only for
you, but if you are signing up a person under the age of 18. We
will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries while making
candles.
